Kiawah Part II

More beach pics of these cutie patooties!

The squirter was a necessity to prevent total Cooper meltdown.
As you can tell, Cooper was not a fan of the family pic.
Beach boys!
Awesome towel made by our good friend Kelly!

Yeah, I'm biased.  But I think she's practically perfect in every way :)

Kiawah Part I

Okay, it may be time for an intervention.  I have narrowed the beach pictures over and over, and there are still a ridiculous amount that I can't bring myself to cut.  I have a problem.  This has been widely known for some time, but I am just starting to acknowledge it myself.

So, I'll post these in a few separate posts so that my computer doesn't explode and readers don't entirely lose interest (although this likely happened a long time ago).  So, for those who want to see countless pics of the kids, here comes the first batch.

We had an amazing week at Kiawah.  Perfect weather, good food, hunts for alligators, plenty of pool time, collecting shells on the beach, and watching both kiddos enjoy every second!  These two love the water.  Last year, Ella was terrified of the ocean, and this year she ran right in.  And you couldn't drag them out of the pool...

To start, here are a few pics in the pool and my attempt at a beach photo shoot.  Let's just say it did not go so well.

Happy fish

Race time!
Sweet beach family (except perhaps for Ella :)

Stay tuned...

The Graduate and the Ballerina

It was a very exciting weekend -- Brian graduated from his MBA program!!  After two years of many, many late nights, endless calls with classmates and weekends spent studying it is (almost) over!  I say almost, because this was apparently a "fake" graduation.  Brian's last class doesn't end for another couple weeks.  But, we are almost there!  It was a wonderful weekend -- Brian and I traveled out to Indiana for the festivities while the kids stayed with Nana, Babba, Mimi and Poppa.  And Indiana was quite a nice surprise!  We ate at fabulous restaurants, explored downtown and had a nice, leisurely weekend.  I even slept until 9:30 am on Saturday!!

 While we were doing this...

 The kids were doing this!

And now, for the Ballerina part... Ella had her ballet pictures this evening, so she got all dolled up and we took a few pictures of our own.  The recital isn't for another month.  Seeing a bunch of three and four year olds "dancing" should be entertaining...to say the least!

Not sure what ballet move this is...

Ballet friends.  She is the youngest in her class.  She looks so tiny here!

Finally, Ella and Daddy picked a bunch of strawberries from the garden today.  Delish!

Late edition pics of Cooper!
