It's Still Cold

More snow.  Maybe this is the last of winter...?  Probably not, but we can always hope.

Bathtime Parker

Little man and I had a bath time photo shoot the other night.  It's one of my favorites times of the day -- time that I get to spend with just him.  He LOVES his baths.  When he was sick, it was one of the easiest ways to comfort him.  He kicks and laughs and stays in there as long as I let him.  He and I hang out and "chat" while we listen to the chaos of two crazy siblings downstairs.  But it's warm and cozy and quiet in the bathroom.  Just me and a squeaky clean happy little guy.

Snow!

Everyone is healthy!! Can you believe it?  We even got out to enjoy the snow!  Parks was not a fan.  Not of the giant coat or the cold weather.

iPhone Photo Dump and My Rant Against Winter

Apparently we are paying the price for something, because it does. not. end.  EVER.  We have been to the doctor at least multiple times a week starting before Christmas.  Four times alone this week! When I think we are in the clear, someone always wakes up that night with a fever.  And this doesn't even include poor P who has been wheezy wheezy for a couple weeks now.   He hated his nebulizer treatments at first, but now doesn't even fight them (well, usually).  He pretty much always sounds like Darth Vadar.

Latest development?  Coop woke up with a 103 fever.  Did a chest x-ray and confirmed bronchitis.

I am trying to convince Brian that it is now a medical necessity that we move to Hawaii.  He says that's fine as long as I'm okay with him running a pineapple stand.  That actually doesn't sound so bad right about now.

Cooper during one of his trips to the doc.  This time he was diagnosed with type A flu AND stomach flu.  (As you will see, he wore the same shirt to the doctor for our visit today.  Apparently this is the comfy shirt that I grab when he feels miserable and pretty much just wants to wear his pjs).

A happier morning - celebrating Ella's sixth birthday before heading off to school.

Ella's b-day card from her BFF.  Soooo cute!

 Sweet kisses from Mimi!

Looking so grown up!  Sporting her big girl purse and necklace from Auntie Nina.

Serious lego session.  They were playing so nicely I just had to stop and watch.

Checking out the new doughnut shop in town.

Ummm, mom, seriously, why are we back at the doctor??

Daddy back from his trip!  Thank goodness - this was a rough week with P's breathing.  We need extra sets of hands around the house!

Still smiley and adorable even when sick.

Today's visit to the doctor.  Two boys who were not happy.  C lost it when we went to get an x-ray, but was then pleasantly surprised that it "didn't hurt at all!"

Look who's sitting up!

AND -- about to start crawling.  Lord help me!!
