Parker J Turned One...A Month Ago

So, three children may mark the end of this blog.  I operate most of the time in survival mode, so blogging is way down the list of priorities.

Anyway, P did turn one.  It was kind of like I looked at the calendar and thought - OMG, P turns one next week.  I pulled out all the stops for E's and C's first birthdays, but I just didn't have the energy for another one.

Luckily, Daddy and Ella came to the rescue.  They planned a "Caps for Sale Party" with a few close friends at the pool.  I didn't lift a finger!  It was quite delightful :)

Parker J

This kid.  He is the sun and the moon and the stars.

Bye Bye Kindergarten

 And that's a wrap.

Kindergarten is all done.  I can't believe it.  Nor can I believe how smart, funny, kind, and brave this little (big) girl is.  What a fabulous year for her.  And getting an award for "Respectful Bobcat" -- i.e., good citizenship award.  So proud of her.  So honored to be her mother.

Could only read a few words when she started Kindergarten.  Now I can't get her to put the book down.

Well Hello There...

Well, hello there blog.  Long time, no see.

Parker, I don't even know what to say.  The documentation of your first year has been severely neglected, I know.  I will buy you a sports car or something when you are 16.  Something that you get that your brother and sister do not.  I will say that you may be quite possibly the nicest, easiest baby on the planet.  As a friend of mine told me, if you are going to undertake raising three humans, a baby like Parker is your reward for the effort.

Amen.

Here are some photos.  Only iPhone photos, I haven't even had the good camera out recently.  Sigh.
