Peak Season for Peak Fun!

I love fall! Apple crisp, fall festivals, babies in pumpkins, what's not to love??

Seven Months!

Yes, Cooper turned seven months a couple weeks ago...and I neglected to post the pics. Well, here they are! Better late than never :)

This is how we find him every morning now :)

A Fabulous Fall Weekend

What a glorious weekend!! A long weekend for mommy and trips to the pumpkin patch, apple picking and a winery! And the weather was just beautiful -- in fact -- almost hot out! It was kind of like picking apples in July.

Cooper and Emma greeting Ella at the front door. Everyone's ready for a fabulous fall weekend!

My pumpkins!

The pumpkin patch was so fun -- lots of animals, a corn maze, zip line, face painting -- even pig races (Ella's favorite!).

There she goes!

Ella, of course, loved the pumpkin princess.

Ella and Leya - so cute!

Just a perfect fall day :)

The next day we headed out bright and early for apple picking!

The orchard was beautiful!

Ella ate as many apples as she picked.

Chomp chomp. Best buddies had a fabulous, delicious time!

How many apples can they eat?

Baby Cooper hanging out with Baby Jake.

Now, off to the winery! Nothing better than a huge field for the kids to run around in while the parents are wine tasting :)

A Monkey and a Concert

Really? It's been almost two weeks since I last posted? Where does the time go!?!

Well, in the past two weeks Cooper has turned into even more of a monkey! You know those blissful couple of months where you can just set the baby down and they can't crawl yet, so they just sit there and play, and if you walk out of the room they are right where you left them? Well, we didn't get a single second of that with Cooper. He crawled long before he could sit. If you sit him down he instantly lies down and takes off with perfect army-crawling form. The little guy is speedy! And he is now pulling up on everything and standing. It's crazy!

And -- I may be imagining things, but he is saying his first words! I feel like this can't be right, because he is just seven months today, but he says "mama," "emma" and "ella" ("lella"). At least it certainly sounds like he does! He will crawl straight toward me saying "mama, mama, mama." And today Mimi took him up to his room for a nap and he started asking for his sister -- "lella, lella."

This little monkey is into EVERYTHING!

Ella watching all of the firetrucks on the morning that lightening struck our neighbor's house! This is her nightgown. She says she looks just like Wendy from Peter Pan :)

Mom and Dad enjoying a night away at a very cool dinner called "Outstanding in the Field."

First brother/sister bath!

Ella and Daddy on the way to the Yo Gabba Gabba concert!

Getting silly.

Ella showing me her dance moves.

See you later mom! (Visions of her as a teenager -- at least at this age the guy driving her to a concert is her Dad!)

I asked Ella at dinner tonight what kind of party she wants for her birthday. At first she said she wanted a macaroni party (she and Mimi did arts and crafts with macaroni today). Then she said, "I know, we can have a flower party and everyone can get married!" Oh, sweet, sweet, Ella, what am I going to do with you!
