YaYa and Booper go to the Beach

We spent last week in Seaside, FL.  It had been a few years since I had been, and I had forgotten just how A-mazing it is.  Quite possibly the cutest seaside town ever.  It may be on the "redneck riviera" but there isn't even a trashcan in this little town that isn't adorable.  And did I mention that the sand is soft as a baby and powder white?  And the water.  Crystal clear blue.

Needless to say, the kids loved it.  And mommy and daddy did too.  Kind of wish the week had never ended.

And here are the pictures.  Yes, I did narrow it down, but this was as much as I had energy for.  Feel free to stop scrolling :)

Story time :)

We referred to this tiny little house as "Ella's house."

Wild times with "Unc B" (in Cooper's words)

Handsome little devil

Seaside School.  Where they will prepare you for all of life's challenges (heavy dose of sarcasm :)

Playing with Nana's jewelry.

The kids and Baba playing out on the sandbar.  The ocean was amazing.

 A wee bit dramatic.

How much is that boy in the window...

 Seaside post office!

Alligator hunt with Nana.

This sea lion was so amazing.  Here he is with his trainer of seven years.   After this trip, Ella no longer wants to be a mommy when she grows up -- she wants to be a "lizard trainer."  Yes, we saw lizards on this trip too.

Ella was picked as a volunteer to help "train" the dolphin!
