Baby Gray - Week One

We are well on our way into week two... but here are some pics from week one!  Many many more pics to come -- if I can ever catch up!

Grayson Kingsley Has Arrived!

He's here, he's here!  Yes, he made us wait a bit past the due date, but our baby Gray has arrived!

I was scheduled for an induction on July 22.  I went in the night of the 21st to sleep at the hospital before the induction began at 7:00 am, and little Gray decided that in no way was he being forcefully evicted.  Let's just say things progressed quickly the night of the 21st, my water broke at 5:38 am on July 22, and he was born at 5:52 am.  All without a drop of pitocin.

Usually it takes a day or two to get to know your little one.  I remember with E and C thinking, well, hello there -- and who are you little one?  Grayson looks and moves so much like Ella that I felt like I knew him right from the start.  It's like Ella all over again -- except this time the boy version.
