A few recent pictures. Ella is growing quickly, or at least she feels that way with all the carrying around. We also recently had a photographer take portraits at our house. Ella is awake more hours during the day now (....and unfortunately at night as well). Which means she has more time to play and learn new things. Recently she has been working on picking up her head among other exciting talents like exploding diapers.

High Fashion

Yesterday, Ella joined Grammy and Mommy for lunch in Old Town and a little shopping. Dad picked out her outfit - so she finally was wearing something not pink! But Mommy picked out her boots... :)

This weekend the weather was absolutely wonderful, so we took Ella out to get some fresh air and see the sights. She didn't seem too impressed and proceeded to sleep through almost the entire outing. Aunt Nina and Mr. Rich joined us for the walk down the Mall. I think they were very surprised that such a little baby required so much gear!

Maybe we can figure out how to hook Emma up to the stroller so she can pull...

This pic was taken at 3:30 am - I asked Brian to hold Ella for a minute while I went to get something, and when I came back - I saw Dad and baby snoozing away. I just could not resist taking a picture!

Two Weeks Today!

Two weeks old and growing . . . . . Ella has been gaining weight and getting taller. She is now almost 8 pounds and 21 inches. Next month she'll be taller than her parents!
