As Cooper is learning, we take a lot of photos in this family! On Saturday, our good friends Stephanie, Scott and Charlie stopped by for a visit, and Stephanie was nice enough to bring her camera and take some photos. She is an amazing photographer. Here are some of my favorite images that she captured :)

Big Sis

Well, Cooper is now a week old! How did an entire week go by already??

Cooper has an amazing big sister. Ella has been GREAT with him, and I'm just hoping this continues when Daddy returns to work next week! She is so careful with him and -- so far -- has not acted out in order to get attention. She is always concerned about him and pats his back when he cries and says "It's Otay, It's Otay." So precious. In the morning she comes right into the bedroom and says, "Mama, you feeding baby Tooper? Baby Tooper hungry?" And tonight, when Brian was putting her to bed, she came out of her room and asked me through the stair railing - "Mama, you come upstairs? Are you busy? Busy with baby Tooper?" I couldn't believe she knew the concept of "busy" and she was so considerate when she asked that my heart kind of broke and of course I raced upstairs (with Cooper).

Already has his eyes open so much more than Ella did at this age!

Cooper Meets the Fam...

Here are some more pics of Cooper's first few days. He has spent some quality time with his Mimi, Poppa, Nana and Baba. And - he finally got to meet his big sis Ella! She just loves her new baby brother!

Cooper Evans, the new Jaskot

Cooper Evans Jaskot, born March 3rd, 2011. Weighing in at 7lb 5oz and 19in long. He made his appearance just in time at 11:21pm, ensuring that he has the same birthday as his Great Grandad Art Cooper!

All together (minus Ella). She gets to meet Cooper tomorrow as she cannot come into the hospital due to late season flu outbreaks in the area. But she got to visit mom and dad in the lobby and cannot wait to meet her little brother!

Party Weekend

Another busy weekend! Two birthday parties, preschool, and just being silly!

Ella spent lots of time this weekend wearing the sweater her Poppa brought back from Estonia (I think). A Russian princess!

Daddy really wanted her to be excited about the rock wall...but she wasn't really convinced.

Practicing ballet at Olivia's party. Daddy stopped by a ballet studio on the way home from preschool, and when she saw all the girls in the leotards and tutus, she became obsessed. All day Saturday, she asked me if she could "please, please go to ballet class with mama" and, with tears in her eyes, told me that she "wants to dance, please mama, please can we go to class." I think it's time to sign this girl up!
