Cooper's Big Day

Sunday was a very special day. We celebrated Cooper's baptism! The rain held off for the most part, and the sun even made an appearance. It was a beautiful service and we were so blessed to have our wonderful minister officiate and to have our family there with us. Cooper was just perfect during the baptism, although he did get a little restless during the sermon (don't we all). Ella was so excited to get to walk down the aisle during the church service. While we were waiting in the back of the church, she constantly asked, "Are we ready yet?" When the deacon finally told us it was time, she exclaimed, "Yay! We're ready!" She even walked down the aisle while the minister carried Cooper to meet the congregation. Quite a big day for both our kiddos :)

The moment of the baptism.

Cooper fell asleep shortly after the baptism. He never falls asleep outside of his room! Guess he was exhausted from all the excitement. I loved getting to snuggle with him during the rest of the church service. (On another note -- Cooper has been on a sleep strike ever since. Apparently he was resting up so he could give up his naps for the next few days!)

Nina, Rich and Natalie were able to join us. Natalie wore her first party dress for the occasion!

Our wonderful minister.

Sleepy little guy.

Party time back at the house.

A serious conversation with Uncle David.

At this point Cooper was trying to eat Natalie.

Ella's favorite part of the day -- cake!

Handsome boys.

I know I'm biased, but how cute is this little guy??
