Beauty Parlor

Someone wins the Daddy of the Year award! Despite being very busy with work and school, Daddy took time out to give his girls a pedicure. And Mommy and Ella topped off the girls night by sharing milk and cookies. Does it get any better than this?

So excited for her toes to be painted. She couldn't get her socks off fast enough!

All smiles :)

Tiny toes.

Look - our toes match! (Ella loves to point out when things match). And yes, there's a little on the floor. Ella declared that we made a mess and told mommy to clean it up!

Ellavision: Our Silly Princess

I am loving this age! Ella is such a goofball. Not sure we're ready for a boy in this house :)

A Case of the Sillies - and Snow

We had a great long weekend!

Being goofy before church.

An early morning coloring session with Zoe.

Cracking each other up during snack time. It was so cute!

Still laughing.

As we get out all of the gear for Baby Cooper, Ella is regressing... She insisted that she was not too big to sleep in the bassinet.

And then, after days of warm weather - we got some more snow!

Not enough for a snowman, but enough for Ella and Nana to make a "snowbug."

Princesses and Pre-Preschool

What a fun way to start the weekend! Daddy came home from a week long trip, and you were so happy to see him! And, you started your "pre-preschool" Saturday class at one of the preschools you might attend this fall. It's a really special thing for you and Daddy to do together on Saturdays, especially once Baby Cooper arrives and Mommy is spending a lot of time with him.

Daddy reported that you had a great time. You got to play with Nugget (the chicken) and hold a guinea pig in your lap (although you kept calling it a piggy pig). You sang songs and played at the sand table. So fun!

Then, we went to see Disney's Princesses on Ice. You were mesmerized. You were very quiet but watched intently and spent the whole time sitting in your Poppa's lap and Daddy's lap.

Things are about the change around here! We are so excited for Baby Cooper to arrive, but we certainly treasure these last moments of "just Ella" time!

Birthday Party!

Yes, we do lots of celebrating in January and February. Today was Mama's birthday. Dada was out of town, but Mimi made sure it was a special day by organizing a wonderful surprise family birthday party! I was so surprised - and felt so special! And -- Ella loves parties. She was very excited about blowing out candles and eating cupcakes :)

Ella - the best birthday present was watching you be goofy with your Mimi, Baba, Nana and Poppa. I just love that they are such a big part of your life, and I can tell that you love it too! It makes my heart happy to see :) You have an amazing sense of humor and make everyone laugh and laugh. I love you!

Ella is only putting up with the kisses so that she can get a cupcake.

Score!

Cupcake lipstick :)

Super Bowl, Super Babies

Yep, we're behind in pictures again! It has been busy busy around here with Daddy gone for work and getting ready for Baby Cooper to arrive.

Here are some pics from the annual Nina/Rich Super Bowl party. Not sure how much Super Bowl watching actually occurred -- we spent most of our time chasing the babies/toddlers.

Ella anxiously awaiting a piece of the annual Super Bowl cake.

Yum.

Baby Alice gets a good view of the game. (This was just before she spit up all over Rich).

We passed the bumbo along to Aunt Nina for her new little one -- but Ella reclaimed it at the party :)

Just Like Mommy....

But hopefully not for too much longer! Mommy is getting bigger by the day, and so is Ella! She decided she wanted "Baby Tooper" under her shirt just like mommy. She kept in in there for two days, and wouldn't let us take him out! She waddled up the stairs just like mommy, ate with baby Tooper in her tummy, and even went to sleep with him in there :)

Only a few more weeks until he makes his debut! I bet Ella is going to be a big helper...whether it really "helps," we'll have to wait and see :)
